I WILL SURVIVE TO LIVE ANOTHER DAY
Here is an update from my recent trip to the emergency room for treatment for problems encountered after getting ill. The scan I received on my neck did not show any damage to the esophagus, which was good news. However, it did not show what the issue was. I did learn the bleeding was from stomach acid from getting sick, the severe sharp pain I experienced when I swollowed and loud popping sound in my throat could NOT be explained. The swelling of just one side of my tonsils also unknown why. The doctor did mention that "stretching the esophagus" may help if the situation continues. Something a specialist once said I may have to get done in the future if my swallowing issues continued to worsen. Definately not something I want to even think about right now, but may have too sooner or later. UcenterDress ball gown style items with train to wear of the wedding
I was put on a diet of soft foods only for one full day. Pudding was a good choice. Later mashed potatoes and I was doing much better by Wednesday, but I still have some pain in the voice box area of my throat. So although I am still confused on all the issues I have swallowing food, the popping sound in my throat that I have occassionally have or even the reasons for the sharp pain I sometimes experience when I swallow, I will live another day.
