So I am often asked how do I do my Navrathrie pooja.

So here goes :-)

Remember this is "MY" way. Everyone could worship Matarani in their own way. Whether offering a simple pooja or an elaborate pooja.

Navrathrie eve I would clean my entire temple, bath and dress all the Matas with new clothing and jewelry.

Navrathrie day 1 - I would perform Ganesh pooja and Panch Dev pooja - then I would place a tray with clean sand and sow barley seeds and in the same tray I would perform Gathastapana. Keeping of a Kalsa which would represent Matarani. This is just done once on the first day. sexy long sleeve prom dresses

Dailey pooja - Day 1 to Day 9
I would do pooja for Matarani starting at 4:00am offering mata bhojan (consisting of milk sweets, hot milk and cut fruits), then 16 offerings Achmana, Padyam, Argayam etc offering mata various colored powders etc. Then do a doopa arati (incense, lamp, flowers).
Then I would offer pooja to that particular deity of that day for example first day Mata Shailaputri.
Offer My first day Halwa Puri and dhar.
Around 6am when the sun starts to rise I would offer a Hawan to Mata chanting Mataranis Kavacha and 108 names of matarani.

Evening pooja takes about 3-4 hours starting at 5pm. Whereby I read the build up to Sri Durgasaptashati -

Kavacham
Aragala strotam
Kilakam
Kunjika strotam
Sri Durga Saptashati

Remember theres 13 Chapters to Durga Saptashati so if you want theres a way wheteby you can read a few chapters a day.

On the 10th day known as Vijay Dhashmi I would do my final pooja and cook a feast for the pleasure of Matarani.

This procedure is quite long. There are simpler ways to offer pooja too.
