I will be 38 weeks tomorrow. My dr said i am 60% effaced but she said im not really dilated at all. She was able to get her finger in there (sorry tmi) and do a membrane sweep. My questions are being a ftm what does it mean that im 60%effaced? Why am i not dilated if such a high percentage effaced? And how long after your membrane sweep did u go into labor?
